The company, with its U.S./Canadian Operations Center based in Atlanta, GA, is a sales subsidiary of TEC Corporation (TEC), a $2.3 billion manufacturer of sophisticated retail and package delivery systems and other electronic systems and components.
TEC was founded in 1950 in Tokyo, Japan, and is a member of the Toshiba Group. TEC America was established as a subsidiary in 1969, four years after opening a branch in Los Angeles.
