Steak, Seafood, Salad Shakin's

A month after naming last month elected Charles Boppell as its new president and CEO, Sizzler International Inc. added him to the board of directors. Other personnel changes at the Culver City, CA, chain: Kimberly Forster was named vice president-strategic planning and Diane Hardesty as vice president-human resources and administration.

Boppell joined Sizzler following his role as president and CEO of La Salsa Holding Co., which grew 200% under his tenure. Before that he was CEO of Hudson's Grill of America Inc., Godfather's Pizza, CEO Taco Bell restaurants. He began his foodservice career with Saga Corp.

Forster recently joined Sizzler International from the Times Mirror Co., Los Angeles, where she served as director of financial analysis for the last four years.

Hardesty, joins Sizzler as vice president, human resources & administration by way of La Salsa Holding Co., where she held a comparable position for the past four years.

Sizzler International, which operates or licenses 346 Sizzler restaurants worldwide and 100 KFC restaurants in Queensland, Australia, last month elected Boppell as its new president and CEO.
