Sky Co-op To Leverage iTradeNetwork's Spend Management Solution To Increase Rebates For Skyline Chili

Pleasamton, CA--(Marketwire) - iTradeNetwork™ Inc. (ITN), the leading global provider of on-demand supply chain management and intelligence solutions to the retail, foodservice and hospitality industries, today announced that Sky Co-op, the purchasing cooperative responsible for Skyline Chili, has selected the ITN Spend Management solution. The solution will provide Sky Co-op with greater visibility into their purchases and help them identify opportunities to increase their rebate programs.

"Our board of directors tasked us with increasing our rebate capture and purchasing opportunities. We knew that given our limited resources we needed a proven, reliable technology partner that could help us deliver the results," said Tom Hannon, President of Sky Co-op. "Using ITN's Spend Management solution we will be able to leverage a solution that has already helped leading foodservice operators increase their rebates, identify new contract opportunities and increase contract price compliance."

ITN's Spend Management solution is a Web-based, hosted solution that allows foodservice operators to ensure they are capturing the full value of their contracts by easily monitoring and enforcing unit purchasing compliance while identifying contract price variances, purchases eligible for rebates, SKU and manufacturer rationalization and other cost saving opportunities. Spend Management automates the collection, standardization and enrichment of unit-level invoice data from distributors, eliminating time consuming and error prone processes. The information is then presented in an intuitive application that allows foodservice professionals to "manage by exception," leveraging dashboard and alert capabilities that highlight exceptions and opportunities for additional cost savings.

"We are seeing increased interest in our Spend Management solution as companies look for ways to do more with fewer resources," said Rob Bonavito, CEO of iTradeNetwork. "Our solutions help companies like Sky Co-op leverage the same tools being used by industry leaders to maximize their purchasing power and we're excited to add Sky Co-op to our growing list of customers."
