MOD Pizza

Offering fresh, artisan-style pizza cooked in three minutes or less, MOD will donate 100% of its pizza sales from opening day to local Alameda charity

Alameda, CA (PRWEB) - Alameda South Shore Center announces MOD Pizza, the rapidly expanding fast-casual pizza brand, will be an upcoming addition to South Shore Center’s selection of quality restaurant offerings. MOD’s individual artisan-style pizzas are made on demand, allowing customers to create their own salads and pizzas, using fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces for one price. Pizzas are hand-cooked in three minutes and salads are hand-tossed for each customer.

MOD Pizza is devoted to treating their employees (known as ‘MOD Squaders’) like family and in turn, creating an inspired place to work. The company was recently ranked seventh on Fortune’s annual ’20 Best Workplaces in Retail’ list. A job fair will be held at the store in June or July, and the company expects to hire up to 25 individuals to join the Alameda MOD Squad. Interested candidates should send a resume or questions to MODcareers(at)modpizza(dot)com.

“Our people-first approach and mission to use pizza as a platform to do good distinguishes us from your average pizza restaurant. We are on a mission to become a force for positive change in the lives of its team members, the communities we serve and the broader food service industry,” said Scott Svenson, co-founder and CEO of MOD Pizza. “We chose to open a restaurant in Alameda South Shore Center because of our shared values of family and giving back to the community which supports us.” In 2015 alone, MOD raised over $130,000 for charities in their communities.

MOD Pizza will be located at 2308 South Shore Center by Chipotle, Panera and Five Guys, and will be open Sunday – Thursday from 10:30 am to 9 pm and Friday – Saturday from 10:30 am to 10 pm.
