Maxim Wheels feature a thermoplastic compound that will not absorb water or liquids and does not mark floors. When compared with other hard tread wheels, they require less effort to start rolling, keep rolling and swivel. Wheels specified with new bronze bearings are rated for temperatures from –40º up to 350ºF (standard temperature range is –40*#186 up to 180ºF).

Tests have shown that the wheels are virtually indestructible. The withstand drops, shocks and hard impacts with ease. They have a 2in. tread width and are available in wheel diameters of 4in., 5in., 6in., and 8in. They are rated for loads up to 1,400lbs. per wheel.
