Maître D e-global Communication Software

The communication program included in the Maitre D Head-Office Client is fully integrated with the Maitre D Back-Office application. The file transfers could be programmed different ways (daily, weekly, monthly) giving you flexibility. Here are some highlights of the communication software and the different configurations available:

1. The transfer engine is a WIN32 application on the client and server side fully compliant with the TAPI specification and using the Dial-Up networking with a TCP/IP protocol stack.

2. Connection can be established directly to the Head Office Server or by an Internet connection using any device supported by the Windows operating system.

3. High scalability on the Head Office server side by using multithreaded technology to allow multiple simultaneous client connections.

4. High integration with Maitre D Back-Office application.

5. Bi-directional Data transfer so restaurant can transfer data to the Head Office and receive automatically new data for the P.O.S. workstation.
Automatic error recovery on connection breaks.
