Kronos® to Open the Nasdaq Stock Market on April 11

In celebration of two corporate milestones, Kronos Incorporated (Nasdaq: KRON), the leading provider of frontline labor management solutions, plans to preside over the market open at the Nasdaq MarketSite at 9:30 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, April 11. This year marks Kronos' 25th year in business and 10th anniversary as a public company traded on Nasdaq.

Rick Ketchum, president and deputy chairman of Nasdaq, will lead the ceremony. Mark S. Ain, Kronos' founder, chief executive officer and chairman, will open the market.

· June 2001 release of its Web-based Workforce Central™ suite, which raised the bar for the entire labor management industry and represented the most exhilarating product development initiative in Kronos' history.

· January 2002 acquisition of the Integrated Software business of the Workforce Solutions Division of SimplexGrinnell, which strengthened Kronos' position in the mid-market.

· March 2002 unveiling of its strategy for entering the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) mid-market with an integrated, Web-based solution to help customers align their people, processes and technology to improve individual productivity and organizational performance.
