For over 44 years, Carlisle FoodService Products has served the foodservice industry with quality equipment and supplies.

Our history begins in 1955 with Continental Plastics, a small custom molding shop in Oklahoma. We began our career in the foodservice industry by creating the first plastic Bains Marie. In 1978, Carlisle Companies purchased Continental Plastics. In 1991 Carlisle Companies purchased SiLite Incorporated, a 45-year-old manufacturer of foodservice products. The two companies were merged together to form Continental/SiLite International. In 1994, we acquired the Sparta Brush Company, a 40-year-old manufacturer of foodservice brushes and cleaning supplies which expanded our overall product offering to over 6,000 Innovative, Versatile, and Durable Products.

Then in March of 1996, we changed our name to Carlisle FoodService Products. Our name change gives us a more recognizable identity and supports our vision of marketing value to the global foodservice industry in the form of quality products and services, while exceeding customer's expectations.

In February of 1997, we acquired certain assets related to the foodservice industry of Plastics Manufacturing Company, (PMC). Then in December of 1999, we purchased Marko International, Inc., the foodservice industry's complete table coverings source. And again in April of 2000, we acquired Dura-Ware Co. of America, making us the most complete foodservice resource in the industry.

At Carlisle, serving the foodservice industry with Innovative, Versatile, and Durable product solutions and efficient, accurate, and dependable service is the foundation of our business. Today, as we sell over 16,000 products in over 82 countries around the world, we remain dedicated to the same quality standards that have placed us at the top of the foodservice industry for over 44 years.
