Keilbasa Killer: New Polish Pizza & Burger Meister

Michael Welch has been named president of International Fast Food Corp., the exclusive Burger King and Domino's Pizza franchisee in the Republic of Poland. Welch is responsible for operations and expansion of the franchises there.

Prior to joining IFFC, Welch was a vice president at Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Inc. where he was responsible for the operations of 230 company-owned restaurants as well as research and development, purchasing and training for the entire chain of 500. Welch also held senior management positions , including senior vice president of franchise operations for 2,000 stores with Wendy's International, Inc. from 1981 to 1987.

Welch praised his current franchises and says the Polis consumer is "hungry for good food at affordable prices." Or at minimum, fast food.

Currently, IFFC operates 24 Burger King and 15 Domino's Pizza locations throughout Poland.
