This Fresh Produce Processing Facility had 43 packers hand mark each carton produced for number of fruit, color/size of fruit, mode of shipping and packer code.
This process took each packer 12-14 steps at an estimated time of 14.5 seconds.
This method was getting costly as the Customer was experiencing a fruit production increase of 5% annually. The facility was running at capacity and a second night shift was planned.
