NRA 2000: Plated Food Heater

Product Group Inc./Platemate ate Hot-Mate holds up to 84 pre-plated entrees at serving temperature up to two hours. This new model, with a stainless steel heating cabinet and digital controls, requires only half the space of conventional banquet carts with the same capacity. The heater is designed for foodservice operations which serve large amounts of pre-plated foods, including hotels and restaurants with banquet facilities, clubs, party centers and caterers. Simply plate the hot food up to two hours before serving, fit the plates into the heater's secure grips, move the unit into the heated cabinet and then remove for service.

The plate holding device achieves savings in prep, serving, and cleanup. It also eliminates the expense and labor associated with trays and plate covers.
